To copy dvds from original format you will need dvd shrink 3:2 which is freeware and will not pay for it but this will have to be backed up with nero dvd burning software. Nero 6 is ample. It needs this to run side by side with dvd shrink for burning capabilities

after posting on how to copy protected dvd's, i downloaded dvd shrink. copyied it but when it came to burn off a disk it wouldn't, needed nero to burn it. went and downloaded demo of nero but when i went to use it it want serial number. then when i did get in it replied that my demo had expired...

could anybody help me in the copying of dvd's. some originals are protected. how do i get through this( for personal collecting not sale).
