if anyone could please help,, i turn the power on and get a black screen, power button solid orange. then the fan speeds up like a friecken turbine. ive switched power supplies, no difference. ive reseated the ram, took out the ram and got no beeps, i have no video card, all the caps look fine...

Check it I have the driver, it turns out I missed it on windows update.

I don't know what one to download. I entered in the information it asked and it could be either one of these I'm thinking: Under Chipset > Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility or Under Video Drivers > Intel 915G Graphics Controller

I found Display Adapters in Device Manager on my other computer, which is a Dell Dimension 2300, and under it said: Intel(R) Extreme Graphics Controller

It might be. Is there any other way to check? Also how when I went through the bootdisk and reformatting does my wireless mouse still work, which I had to install to use? I thought it was deleting everything

There is no Display Adapters

I got my sound back from the Drivers and Utilities Disk but I can't find the Graphics card driver on the disk or the Dell website, do you know where I can get it?

lol..I will...my screen is still big..I cant find any drivers for it on a CD so I guess I will go to Dell and try to find it...

OK...my OS is installed...should I just go to windows update to get updates?
