What do you mean you dont have time to Run it on the reccemended settings?You just right click anywhere on desktop,Properties for xp or Personalize for Vista,Then just click on display setting,And just set the bar to the correct res.It will probly never stop overheating unless its ran the way...

if it freezes up when you use it,It may be overheating ,or it may just be a virus. See if there is alot of build up in your computer dust,and such,next i would suggest geting some anti virus.malware bytes is a good start.Spbot searth and destroy.is another one.

10000Rpm is loud compared to7200 So ya your probly fine unless you start crashing or cant find files. Yea It is about 30% faster,So dont worry to much.Unless like i said crashing or Files missing

Well it could be,Does it make any beeping sounds when you first boot it? when does it most of the time crash/freeze? or is it random as far as you can tell?

Can you run your computer with just that hardrive?

Make sure you have enough power,If it works without the video card means it may not be getting enough power to boot.

Yea i reset The battery (forgot the name) Cleared all malware,If any,(comp runs much faster :D) i dont know what else to do. Cant be hardrive i unhooked it,ram is good,This whole comp is brand new i dont know.
