Im confused. In what way is it remotely surprising that you can use a TV with your laptop ?

It's common but doesn't affect every single one.
Just need to figure out how to update the firmware, apparently that can help.
Edit: Hmm, I can't update the SSD while I'm using it. Well, this is going to be a long and awkward process :-\

how bad is your connection??? I still can't believe they're fleshing out 9!!! I'm using 8 right now...

the 9.0 nightly is next month!!!!
