How can I buy a placeholder domain?

Hey, does anyone know how to buy a domain from someone? I entered a domain that I want to get, but one of those domain placeholder sites came up. I searched the domain name on a domain searching website, It gave me the person's email, phone number, and name. I emailed him/her, and haven't recieved a reply. I really want to get it, any ideas?

There is no way to force the issue. If a person already owns the domain, then you have to wait for them to respond. As only they have the ability to transfer the domain.

That or if you do a whois and if there domain is expiring soon you can try and backorder it.
