Re: Today I have...

Looking at this pic, you can see the back of the property by the treeline (the bigger trees are my property). It runs up almost to the house with the tan roof. The upper house on the right is my mom's place. From there back (excluding the upper right corner) is the rest of the land. My house is the one with the green roof at the bottom of the pic (sits on a triangular acre itself). Utilities available are electricity, phone, cable, and well water.

Re: Today I have...

Lol my parents have an acre of land in the country that i grew up on. I moved out and lived at a friends house for 8 months and got with my gf. Noticed my gf was having serious problems at home so being the guy i am i got her outa there and wound back out on that land lol.

^i think i know the one your talking about, made by merc of something like that.

I looked at that one before i got my lycosa, the game pad seemed a little strangely laid out, so i didn;t get it.

Honestly, I really like my Saitek Eclipse. I decided I had to have backlighting. I've been running this thing for 2.5 years 24/7 and it is still trucking. I also have a Microsoft Curve keyboard that I really like, but it isn't backlit. It's awesome for typing a lot.

I have looked really hard at a Stealth keyboard (forget the maker). It is backlit, and has a gamepad on the left side set at an angle so you can use it when gaming without having to twist your keyboard.

Unfortunately they don't sell Saitek here

That must be worth a small fortune ?

That'd set you back atleast $1.5mill over here and upwards of $3mill in a good area.

Re: Today I have...

The property was purchased in the early 1950's for little of nothing... 16 total acres for $200. It was divided up amongst my dad's family years ago and my dad bought out several brothers and sisters.

Actually, I have no idea what it would be worth right now. A lot of the timber on it is worth money, plus it has my parents' house (3BR, 1.5 bath, full basement, ~12-1300 sq.ft.), and two mobile home hookups.

Re: Today I have...

Hmm. I guess it's probably not worth as much as over here as you have a lot more land to go around in that country.Still, i would love to buy that place off you and build a big 10000sq ft mansion ;) If i ever get that rich i'll let you know, heh.

Re: Today I have...

Today I was off sick, at a really bad time since my first exam is in 12 days. Or, ten days plus half a day, and the day of the exam doesn't really count.

Re: Today I have...

Today I was sitting at work and then a transformer blew up in the building's utility room and we had to evacuate. Well the stairs were totally packed with people and the electricity was out. We could hear people that were stuck in the elevators pounding on the doors. We tried to get them out but doors wouldn't open. Firefighters came after an hour and escorted us down 25 floors. Pretty intense watching everything happen from so high up and not being able to do anything or move.
