Even so, beaming something through the shield is not the same as 'brute forcing' your way through it with a giant beam
 
True but shields are there to stop such things or at least soften the blow.

Sci-Fi tends to over emphases the use of a shield sure some day we might have them but they will not be the bubbles we see around a ship at most they will be used around mission critical areas of ship like the power core, an crew compartments. Or even a directional field that can be projected into the way of danger but it wont be like the star treck an Stargate shields we see.

What is starforce driver???

When ever I log on to my system it says that the star force driver has been blocked :mad:

I don't know what it is and i don't like it!!!
