Thats weird...i get higher than that at the same clock speed and just an 8800GT.

give me sympathy please, ive gone from a 22inch monitor to a 15 inch monitor time for some 1024 x 768 reso gaming! :< so im stuck with a 15inch for the tech forums 'WAN' if i dont get my old monitor back

He is running a single core Athlon. That has got to be a huge bottleneck.

The 4800+ is a dual core.

Oh true. Didn't see that. Well I got 8 something with a 2.2ghz Opty and a 4850 so 9k doesn't seem improbable.

But he is at 3ghz.....i thought he would get at least 12K.

I get just over 10K on my setup @ 3ghz. Then again nvidia does better in 3dmark.

I only get like 8500 on 3dmark06....

Once I upgrade my mobo, I'll be able to OC to 3 GHz though, and have 4 gigs of ram, so that should give my score a nice boost.
