Misleading! iTunes is very slow at converting video... thats why everybody uses 3rd party programs to do it, they do it much faster.

Still fast nonetheless.

My e8400 encodes at about 80fps when converting from divx to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD. Not sure if my 8800gt was helping or anything.

I'm excited that they are making improvements with the encoding process, but they make it out like this is revolutionary. Its pretty sad that they used itunes as well. Cheap bas***ds

Like say the video plays at 30fps, 2x realtime means its encoding at 60fps.

You haven't ever encoded anything, have you? Lol...each frame needs to be encoded

That's impressive but common , we a lot CPU's for that. I agree with LeftEyeBlind we use 3rd party programs to encode. But still a great feature nonetheless.

DVD shrink works much faster than Itunes, and it's entirely CPU bound aswell.
