Potentially the longest thread in history...

I would go back to F@H, cept that it puts too much strain on the components, and I don't have the funds to replace or RMA anything, atm, and for awhile.

For now, I am content playing crysis, with a shotgun, with no reloading. Fun times...

Nahh man!

- Your appt. is free.
- You can change your own oil for free
- Don't have to get "designer" frames
- Do you have to have a new gpu?
- You could have spared the frapuccino

:)
Love playing devils advocate :)

I need one to replace my 7800GT. It's experiencing some weird symptoms. I get strange colors that pop out of nowhere, at times, the monitor blanks out or flicker. The monitor itself seems fine as I've plugged it in to my laptop, which makes think I need a new video card.

I'm not looking to game a lot anymore, but I was looking into getting something like the new 9 series by Nvidia:

EVGA 512-P3-N865-AR GeForce 9600GT KO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N865-AR GeForce 9600GT KO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

It's below $200 and looks pretty good specwise.

You have a good point motox, but it doesn't seem that he's in trouble with money or anything. It's good to treat yourself to something nice, once in a while. I would, if I had the money.

Haha, well, I'm too lazy to changing my own oil. Then I would have to take the dirty oil down to Kragen for them to recycle--extra work. Plus, that's 45 minutes of my time changing it. I'm very particular when I do my own oil changes. First, I like to warm up the car or drive it around. Yeah, I like changing it while the car is hot. I'll let it cool off a bit. Jack that sucker up, put jackstands on front. Then the drain comes next. More oil comes out of it and fast too when the motor is hot. I like to get as much oil out as I can. Then, I would waste a quart of oil (sometimes) on purpose just so I can get majority of the gunk out. I pour 1 quart in while the drain plug is off. I let that flow into the pan. Drain plug goes back in and more fresh oil goes in. Job well done.

Glasses are hard to get. I need something that will look good on me. Luckily, the insurance covered $300 but I end up paying an extra $83 for the transitions and anti-glare doohicky. I don't really think they're designers now that I think of it. It's some name that starts with an "N" but I forgot. Haven't picked them up yet.

As for Starbucks, I have to spoil myself. It's loaded with fat, but it's too good to give up.
