new ipod: video probs!! PLEASE HELP!

the problem is i jus got a new ipod classic, n i tried both xilisoft video converter and WinAVI MP4 Converter to convert videos for my ipod but only a few of the videos can b transfered to the ipod, den i tried to play the videos dat cant b transfered on quicktime n it shows an error message sayin "error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie (*name*.mp4)" but wen i play it on window media player classic it works fine. i convert this video more than once n it still doestn work, is it sumthing wrong wit the converter? or its teh itunes fault?

its probably itunes. I've tried ipod and don't much care for them so I went to archos and they play every file format. Check to make sure the codec is supported on your ipod
