Are you going to buy Bioshock?

well i went to my bios and went to the defaults.
So its without the oc.
And i ran the game in medium settings.
And its been running with 38fps+ with no lag at all.

So i think something was wrong with the oc...wierd thing is that my other games never quit on me.

Well i have one more question....where are my saved games?

Just bought it on the way home from work tonight. Man I didn't know games could be this pretty. Really shows me what I've been missing being stuck on a 9600xt the last 3 yrs.

Edit: OH and the saved Games should be in your My Documents/Bioshock Folder

How do you turn on the framerate calculation in bioshock? I'm interested to see what my fps is at.

Ah i didnt realize that it was from using fraps. I have never really bothered tracking the fps i have in games, usually because my hardware didnt have a lot of options.

I have a similar rig to you Krazyq, what settings do you run it on?

I run mine with mostly everything turned on High, some on medium, at 1280x1024 and it runs smooth, I haven't ran FRAPS on it yet though.

well i havent got this rig yet!
It should be at my place today, so it will take about 2-3 hours untill i get everything running installed and ready to go.

Im hoping to play this game maxed out on my 22" monitor.

You will surely max out Bioshock, with your new system. As I was able to, with my Q6600 and X1950PRO, on my 22".
