zip files

Hello, someone would like me to send approx 50 thumbnail drawings which I store in one folder, each being a file. (50 files). Is there a way I can email the 'folder' and it's contents? Finding it tedious transfering 6 at a time on to new page. What is a zip system, is that the way to go?

Yes you would want to zip them into one file. Vista and 7 can do it themselves.
Compress and uncompress files (zip files)

or you can download winrar or 7zip.

Email has a limited amount of space you can use to attach items to send with it. So you might not be able to email the contents if it is over 10MB in size. Your best bet would be to use a service like Send Space, RapidShare or something else like that to upload the file after you zip it up.
