Default xp to xp 64 bit edtion (help)

I have a amd 64 and am trying to switch from xp to xp 64 edtion.
the problem is xp 64 dosent come as an upgrade and i only have one hd partition. Is it possible to either add a partition to my hd or just replace one with the other without loosing any of my files?

You can modify your partitions without losing data with programs like Partition Magic. That's the only one I"ve used, and it worked slick, but I"m sure there are other's out there. Possibly some that are free.

Its a frigging Laptop, not a Labtop!!!!

It always does.... Microsoft gives the command CONVERT and says its not reversable..... Partition Magic can still come to rescue!!
