Exclamation XP wont boot my XP Pro CD ?

hi , when i put the CD of Windows XP Professional inside so i can reformat i restart the pc with the CD inside my Lite-on combo and as my pc starts up it doesnt boot the CD up how can i make it Boot up my Windows XP Pro SP2 CD ? it is getting annoying and i have tryed it in my Pioneer ALL IN ONE Drive and still doesnt boot why is this ?

you went to the bios and set it to boot from CD?

is the disk a real copy from microsoft or an ISO?
