XP won't boot. Black screen, flashing cursor.

I ran SpinRite and it didn't find any errors on the drive. I ran ERD and it also didn't find a Windows installation and said my C: drive was 0 bytes. It's almost as if my data was all corrupted or erased somehow. I may have gotten some kind of virus, but I don't know how. I was running NOD32 antivirus.
 
Well, there wasn't much else I could do so I just reinstalled. Everything is fine now. I don't think I had many files that weren't backed up, I just didn't want to have to deal with reinstalling everything. But, it's all working now.
 
that's good. make you and erd commander cd off of those system files, so that won't happen again. then just use to fix your computer. sometimes fixboot and fixmbr will throw erd commander off of the boot path
