XP to Vista question

In order to save some money on a new computer I'm wondering if I can buy a very basic copy of XP and use a Vista upgrade CD I bought from BestBuy on TWO computers. I would get XP for both of them and use the Vista upgrade disc on both computers to save money.

Would it work like that?

No. That is illegal and it breaks the EULA and TOS for Microsoft. 1 license = 1 PC. You will have to buy 2 copies of XP and 2 copies of Vista for 2 PC's. Simple as that. If you wish to use upgrades.

Can't you buy 1 corporate?

You can buy corporate but you need to buy at least 5 licenses for corporate and you need to be a partner to get it.
