i hope you are able to help me:
i simply want to know how can i install a program only for the current user and not for the others?

i want other users not to use some programs i use on my account ..
please help me..

When you create a account it asks if you want to make it private. Say yes and only you will be able to use the software installed.

That is not saying that other cant see the software they just cant execute it.

Some applications already do this via the installer but not all have this option.

ok i use the admin account...MUST i necessarily go use a private account?

Well for complete privacy then yes you must use a account that was created and has all the files kept separate.

As far as hiding them i don't think there is a way to do that. I will have to see if i can find something for that.
