XP + Ubuntu... where is Grub?

Hi, I've had XP/Ubuntu on my system before, no problems, everything was fine.

I reformatted XP and reinstalled it again. (XP Pro, that is)

Now, it automatically boots to Windows without loading Grub to give me the option. I have a 40gb laptop HD, 30GB or so allocated for XP, and the rest for Ubunut's HD storage/swap (which should still be there).

How do I get Grub back up and running?

try using the ubuntu live cd and reloading the boot loader. basically when u reinstalled windows it put its own boot loader back in overwriting the grub version.
