XP trouble..

hey guys ive run into a bit of a problem when i installed sp3, i cant delete an icon from my desktop if i drag it to the recycle bin or copy/move files in my documents or any other folder. i either have to use the shortcuts or right click my mouse and select to delete/copy/move files. is there anyway to fix this?

Seems as if there is still issues with SP3.

As for your specific issue. Seems to be something more in depth. Cause I am running SP3 and i have not come across this issue.

alright thanks ill try it out, if nothing is caused by spyware can i just use system restore to go back before i installed sp3?

Yes. If the spyware scans come out clean. Do a restore.

Do you get an error message when trying to move the icons by dragging them?
