Question XP Startup Screen

I was wondering if you can change the xp startup screen , is it hidden as a logo.sys?, i changed it in ME...

If you're referring to the XP startup splash screen, here it is:


As far as I've heard, installing SP1 will hinder you from changing it - usually the symptom is the system hardlocking.

M$ really loves there boot screen, that's why i want to change it

Default in reference to Win SP-1

Just a bit of comment about running BootXP w/ SP-1... I have patched my machine to WinXP w/ SP1,and as of far it has worked without a hitch for me..

Also keep in mind that im running a slower 500 Mhz machine with the XP update purchased at the store.
A+ Core Hardware, Software Certified (May 13 2005)
the new beast...

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Barton running at 2.16 Ghz.
GeForce MX 4000 (mainly takes the load off the main system)
Creative Labs Audigy 24-bit sound.
Some Case from tigerdirect
512 MB Ultra DDR RAM.
80GB Seagate HDD
LiteOn CD-RW / DVD ROM drive.
currently looking at a litescribe drive at staples, due to its ability to label the CD shortly after being burned.
