XP Recycler Failed?

I'm doing a spyware scan, right? And i see files that I deleted a loooooong while ago. And, We have some space taken up on the C Drive, that were not quite sure whats taking it up. Are there any programs or something to clean this area? I know the recycle bins are empty, But I cant find the file, even with Hidden files viewable.

u can use system mechanic 6 its a very good software program loaed with maintance tools, one draw back is u dont have a decent gaming pc or good multitasking speeds the scans and removables may take a while. but it also analyses all problems, including yours, it will detect clutter files, upon scan itll clean all junk files up

I advise against using that program. I recommend ccleaner and cleanup, you can get them in my sig. Too many users here have had their systems messed up because of that program.
