Default Simple XP setup Q

I have just build a dream machine and need to stick XP on it.

The only copy I have is from my older MESH computer and the CD is a MESH RECOVERY with XP on it. It will reinstall windows fine on the mesh computer, but I keep getting blue screen error messages everytime I try and use it to install XP on this new machine.

Is the blue screens related to the cd being a mesh recovery? I.E. do they do something that prevents it working on a non-mesh machine?

Is there a way to remove this 'lock'?

I think they do now. Maybe its in the BIOS. The disk probably looks for the old BIOS.
Since your computer won't work if you flash it with the old BIOS, its probably impossible.
You can get Windows XP Home OEM for $60

I used a OEM Dell recovery on my dream machine...

only problem is that you have to reinstall every 30 days because of the WPA
Because people hate searching.
Best ram guide.
Different cpu types.
Good video card guide
