xp re-install

hey, I'm planing on re-installing Windows XP. I got two drives, C, D. Can I keep D without erasing anything in it?

Sure can... When you get to the "reformatting" section of the install. Just dont touch the d partition

ive done that so many times. When I used a new install when starting from the desktop and then it reboots, it goes to my d: drive first and I wasnt paying attention and I formatted it, all my program gone...luckily I backed them up. Soi be careful..read read read

i never even take the chance. i always just take my time and baackup anything on the hard drive even if it's on another partition.

measure twice, cut once.

so I can do it, and how do I make like a backup of my D drive?

copy and paste to a dvd/cd

well you could burn all the data on a disc if you got a dvd burner.
