XP Pro Vs XP Pro 64

I was running 64 bit for a while but I reformatted back to 32 when it was time. I am much better off with 32 bit since all applications, games and hardware are compatible.

64 bit was a real pain in the butt for drivers, applications and hardware not available. There really should be more support for 64 bit.

call ms. it's a little better with service pack 2
 
I installed the 32 version of Xp (OEM) but didnt read this first, well I purchased and installed 8 gigs of GSkill ram and of coarse now I realize it will only use half of that.

Can I reformat the partition that 32bit XP is on and install 64bit? Will all my programs still run with this new version?
