well I know how to remove the powersaving options for XP, simple enough. I dont want them because this is an office environment, so we have no use for them.

the problem is that, I can remove the power savings from XP, but as soon as you login to the computer under a differnt name, the power saving options are all set back to default.

I checked in the local policies to see if I could find anything in their, but to no avail, I have logged on to the comptuer under the admin account, changed the option, but still nothing.

The problem is that the power saving options are carried throught the local user profile.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions....

thanks in advance....

Is it ok when your logged in as admin? And just messed up when your logged in as a regular user? Is it possible to change the power saving settings as a regular user?

If this power saving setting is disrupting all the accounts and you have already disabled it in the control panel, try looking in your bios. Most of today's bios's have a power setting feature built in.

GL.
