Ok, my pc got all messed up and i reformated, got a 60 gig hd from the basement. I put ME on again, so I could upgrade back to XP pro Academic version. I did that and then put in the XP disk, started the installation, it gets to where your pc has to restart and the DOS part takes over. I select the partition and install XP. However before any progress is made I get the error: "Setup has determined that drive c: is corrupted and cannot be repaired." and my pc has to restart. Im sitting here fine with ME, please help me.

If you have a full ME disk, then you CAN do a clean install of XP. During the installation it will ask you for your ME disk so you can prove to Microsoft that you are upgrading an older version of Windows. Other than this, there is no difference between the upgrade version of XP and the full version.

Yeah, I have done that, all it says is:"Setup has determined that drive c: is corrupted and cannot be repaired."
