I just put together a new computer last night, but I coulnd't get XP to install. Everything seems ok when the computer boots up, and the OS begins so intall itself right away. However, in the middle of the installation, a blue Stop error screen pops up with the following message:
*** Stop:0X0000007E (0X0000005, 0XF748EOBF, 0XF78DA208, OXF78D9508)
*** pci.sys - Address F748EOBF base at F748700, Datestamp 3b7d855c
I have an MSI P35 Neo2-Fr mobo, Intel Q6600 Quad CPU, EVGA 9800 GTX GPU, 4GBs of G-Skill DDR2 PC6400 ram, and a 320GB Samsung HD. All these components are brand new.
Does anyone know what this error message means or how to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.
