Installing Windows XP - NeoSmart Technologies Wiki

There is a guide to installing XP. As for the partition. Easy. Use GParted. Create a partition after your 2K install and use that free space.

But honestly you will just be better off going with XP full time. Everything is made for it.

You shouldn't have to type anything, its all GUI bar the partions bit?

GParted you want the LiveCD. It should come in a ISO which you just burn using ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP or Nero or something like that. Then just reboot with the CD in and it will run.

IT will leave the label for hte Vista partition as you have it. It will name the new partition jsut that. New Partition #1 and you can rename it when you go back into Windows.
