built new comp got everything working. installed xp home, then installed biostar mobo drivers. the compatibility error came up and we did continue anyways, then that error came up asking to insert xp cd and reinstall the replaced non recommended files. whenever i cancel it, it comes up a few times on bootup (like 5-7 times) so anyways we dled the MS updates and nvidia drivers. then on one of the restarts it gave the black screen with white text asking whether to goto safe mode with network option safe mode or safe mode with command prompt or just xp home. when you click any of the options if freezes after showing a black screen like it was ready to show the load screen. and with safe mode options freezes after showing about 20 of the commands be executed to start safe mode. so i did a repair install on the same partition and OS then rebooted, got on fine, unistalled the mobo drivers, and on restart did the same freezing symptoms >_<. only option left is to try a fresh install and not install the mobo drivers? also the mouse click response seemed laggy and not sure about how to fix it. any suggestions on any of this?
