Basically, I'm reformatting my harddrive as OS is in a never ending reboot loop and chkdsk and the repair option from the disk doesn't work at all, and anyway guess I needed a reformat as everything was slowing down even after defrags, virus runs etc etc. This time, I'm making this my last reformat ever (unless core files are damaged), therefore I plan to make 3 partitions:
C - Core system files
D - Music, pictures etc
E - paging file.
HDD is 320 gb, about 30 gb towards C, 5 GB towards paging and rest to D. Now, do I install all my apps on D? or do I install them on C and just keep my pictures and music files and vids on D.
Anyone with experience could possibably aid me with this question. Thank you.
