hi all

I am not a techie, so if you can help me (thanks) but can you keep it simple, since i formatted my computer it keeps freezing at different times.

I get one of those error reporting things and this is what it says

error Signiture

BCCode : 35 BCP1 : 82E2F008 BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : 00000000
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

and i assume it is happening in these files:

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini100404-03.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\NEELRA~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

Does this mean anything or to anyone or is it microsoft crap

any help would be appreciated

Neel

The message itself doesn't tell very much, but if you check the log-file (sysdata.xml) there should be further information there.

Does the computer restart after it freezes and when does this message appear?

The first thing that comes into my mind is the graphics-drivers. If you have a GeForce Ti 4x00, go to www.nvidia.com and download the most current drivers. If you have a RadeOn card, go to www.ati.com and download the drivers package, not the control panel. Or if you have an older GeForce card, uninstall the graphics-drivers from Device Manager (Control Panel -> System -> Hardware) and let windows install them by restarting the computer.
