XP boot disks.

You can, do as they say, and boot from CD rom (The easiest and most direct root) or, if you choose, you can use a 9/x boot disk to format the drive, and then use the six setup disks or whatever. If you boot from the 9/x disk, you can simply use fdsik to delete the partition and format the computer, but it will not format with ntfs. You can then reformat it with the disk, to ntfs, but if you do that you just spent a little while with the bootdisk for no reason. Simply boot from the CD-ROM, follow the wizard, it will reformat your computer using Fat or NTFS (Use NTFS, they really shouldnt even give you the option).

9/x = Windows 9/x family. Windows 95, 98, ME.
