Default Xp back to 2000 pro

Hi,

I have an old laptop that was upgrade to windows xp home a while ago (originally 2000 pro). Thing is the computer is running slower and slower and was wondering about downgrading to windows 2000 pro again.

I have the licence for windows 2000 pro, but I have lost the disc. It there anything I can do, or will I have to buy a new copy of 2000?

Cheers for any help/advice.

Hello,

Probably the best place to obtain a copy of Windows 2000 is eBay.

If you still haev the license you can get a copy of the disc from anywhere. It is the serial that matters. It is just finding someplace that has it. Even Torrents dont have that much to do with Windows 2000 anymore.

Best bet will be eBay as Alvin said.

How slow is your computer to run slow on XP?
