xp and acer laptop

i have xp installed on my acer 5672

its has been a problem from day one.

The question is:

i want to reformat the computer completely and start from scratch. how do i make a back up disk for the installed xp and acer programs that the factory came in from factory. eg acer emanagement, acer powermanagement etc
