my computer is fairly old so i think just normal ram but that isn't important at the moment i need to get my new hard drive sorted and graphics card

I think you should get another 256mb of ram a.s.a.p because its sooooo cheap now and when you do install win xp it will run so much more smoothly.

yeah there should be a little sticker on the ram itself or if all else fails take the stick of ram to a pc shop and they will tell you.

it wont always tell you. download sisoft sandra it will tell you. if you can tell me what kind u got, i might have some i can send you

Windows XP Does require 216MB Ram to run i think
