XP 64 Install Error

I recently received a x64 cd, so i backed my files to my iPod and booted it up. It got done installing fine, but whenever it got to the part where you put the Serial in, my serial didn't work. So i thought restarting might help, so i did, but now when i turn on my computer, it doesn't show up on the monitor. How can I reinstall XP? I also have an XP home cd.

Just insert the cd, boot from it and it should install

my monitor won't turn on when i turn my pc on, so i can't boot.

So you have no green light on your monitor? Is it orange? Is it plugged in? Is it connected to your vc?

it's orange and flashing. It makes sense since i restarted in the middle of a setup (or at the end actually), I just need to know how to fix it. NOTHING comes up when i turn it on.

Do you have onboard video?

I have an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 256 AGP, connected to the monitor with a regular VGA cable. Like i said, it's not that my monitor won't turn on, it's that my computer won't work.
