Default xp 64 bit

Right now i have an amd 64 3000. Should i spend the money on windows 64 bit edition? Im running xp pro right now

I thought it was a free upgrade to the 64 bit edition from the pro edition???

Windows XP x64 edition is nice if you're a power user, but not if you have a lot of hardware to hook up. (Scanners, etc)

I would never go back to 32-bit XP after running the XP x64 (Win Server 2003) kernel.

no kidding man, i can only imagine how much faster that 64 bit is compared to my xp, and i guess that ur question has already been answered since u already have it, so happy computing and yes, im jealous
