XML format into Excel

We are currently trying to get customer information from a an off-site office that handles our spreadsheet and database information for us. We want to be able to provide our own sales people with the means to be able to print out their own sales forms and the such. The problem is that the information when they gather it and send it will be in XML format, which i will have to manually plug into Excel. I am not too please about this prospect seeing as im not an XML programmer and it comes to me to handle this stuff. Does anyone have any leads on better software for handling customer information, more like a database program we can move to? Excel works decently for it, but we want a web based program actually designed for such things. Any tips or advice would be highly appreciated
