So I have a couple of issues and I'm assuming they're linked, any help is much appreciated. I'm running Windows 7
The wuauserv service is often eating up about 2gb of ram. There is also over 100 updates to be downloaded and installed so I thought maybe if I install everything it'll solve the issue. Problem is, windows update gets stuck on 0%, so I can't install any.
I tried to follow the steps to reset windows update but I can't end the wuauserv service - "the WIndows Update service could not be stopped."
I don't know what to do next, any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
