Wrong Icon

This problem has been occuring since i repaired a problem that occured during installation. During installation a control panel file went corrupt. so i used the install cd and repaired it. Once i did that, ALL my microsoft word files show up with a red x as the icon. its not spyware, i have adaware, Spybot S&D, and Norton Antivirus. Any Ideas?

Re-install word or check the folder options in control panel.

Word works fine though?

I would re-install it cause it probably changes the icon.
