Write protected DLL's

I recently installed a beta version of a co-op mod for Far Cry, then i later uninstalled it. Problem is it left some files on my pc one of which i now cant delete.

Its a dll and its giving me the old write protection, disc full, access denied message. Ive tried different utitlies in Norton Sysworks, tried regcleaner, and deleted the entry in the registry manually, but it just keeps coming back at every boot up. Ive also tried a program which deals with such dlls and it cant even pick it up!

Anyone help me with this please??

Are you able to locate this DLL file? Have you looked at its Properties? What OS is this?

find the dll file, then right click on it, then make sure the general tab is selected. if there is a tick beside "read only", then just remove it then click ok, then delete!

delete as administrator in safe mode

Win XP, the read only box isnt ticked. i still cant delete it. Ill try safe mode, thanks.
