Write Errors

Write Errors: Urgent Please Help

I'm having a major problem with my computer. I'm running windows XP service pack 2, and my foldesr keep write protecting themselves. I right click on the folder, click properties, and uncheck read only, but the next time i open it, its write protected again. Please help!

the werid part is, it is letting me write to the drive.


The problem is, i am trying to back up a computer, and i keep getting the error, "Cannot create or acces tempcache"
