Wow64EnableWow64FsRedirection

Hello everybody,

I am facing the following situation: I don't now why, but since last month, whenever I try to "regsvr32" (even with no arguments) I get the error:

"The procedure entry point Wow64EnableWow64FsRedirection could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

The window title of the error message box is "regsrv32.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

My OS is Windows XP Professional SP2, on 32-bit. No 64-bit

I guess that I installed something that enabled a x64 mode in my PC ... without having 64-bit Windows.

How can I work around this problem?

you cant just enable 64 bit. youd have to completely wipe the system of the 32 bit OS first. thats why u cant do an upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit. it has to be a removal of the 32-bit OS followed by an install.

go to start -> run
type "sfc /scannow"
and put the XP CD in

That should fix the problem, if it's a corrupt windows file.
