would you pay for an operating system that was designed for hardcore gaming?

I dunno if I would pay for it, and I can't imagine any special features that could improve gaming.

Maybe like a Windows XP-G. The G is for gaming, haha. Not a bad idea, but all the game companies would have to support it. Maybe it would come bundled with programs. Programs like 3dMark and optimizers for XP. Maybe a 'barbones' mode that turned off all processes except what was vital to the game.
