What would be best gear for editing music, most people say go for nero 6, would anyone agree?

i remember using modplug & fasttrax years ago

lookup music tracking software.

Nero is CD burning software, you want to edit (bring changes in original track) than use SoundEdit, or SoundForge (very popular) or if you want to just change the file format, then yes Nero can turn it (say u have mp3's and u want them to convert into Audio File format).

as well, I have used Realplayer v10 (free download) to convert mp3' to Audio Files. (this happened yesterday, so confirmed news)

Nero also can convert audio file to mp3.
