Default WordPress.org

User in marketing asked me to install a WordPress.org solution, I am new to this, did a little research but still slightly confused on the cPanel portion when uploading the zip files to our server. I have not asked the network admin (whom i sit next to lol) about this, and I have not had a chance to involve myself in our backbone just yet (new to the company). Some use SSH, Some use FTP with WordPress. Can I simply use a program like Filezilla Server and upload the scripts and files to it on a local network drive and install Filezilla client on anyone utilizing the site? The cPanel portion and host site confuse me and maybe just need an explanation to bring sense to me lol.

Hi,
I'm an expert wordpress user/web developer, not sure I understand your question correctly but anyway.

If you are talking about uploading files to your webhost, then yes you can use the FileZilla client(it's what I use).

Your question confuses me a little what are you trying to achieve?
