wordpad doc

When I boot my computer up I get a minimized wordpad doc at the bottom of my screen.

How do I prevent this from happening? Any help is appreciated.

have you looked in the startup folder, and the run and runonce registry keys for both machine and user?

What OS are you on?

its 98se/me , goto start-->run-->msconfig-->startup you might find it there.. uncheck it

It's not in my startup list and it's not listed under msconfig startup either.

Any other ideas? What do you mean by run and run once registry keys for both machine and user?

download ccleaner www.ccleaner.com and do a registry scan and a startup check.
