WMP 11 Problems

So I tried playing a video in WMP 11 and all I get is a green screen. I can hear the audio, but I get no picture. This is on my laptop with Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Any ideas what's going on?

Do you have the Vista Codec Pack installed or KLite Codec Pack?

Where do I go to find that out? It worked yesterday and today it doesn't work.

try going to file hippo.com that's where i got my klite codec pack.

You should see them listed in the Uninstall Programs menu from the control panel if they are installed.

Hmm, somehow I have neither installed..

I would try to install 1 of them and see if it helps resolve the issue.

I just installed the klite and I still get just a green screen in WMP.

Interesting. Is it a .flv file or a .avi file?

That's the thing. They're .wmv files.
