Exclamation winxp problem

Ok, this is from a friends comp so i will try to tell you all know. She has a compag with a anthlon xp 2000, with 394mb of pc2100 ram. Her problem is, after she has been on the cpmputer for awhile she will get a message saying something like " NT LUTHERIN SYSTEM REMOTE PRECEDURE CALL SERVICE TERMINATED UNEXPECTEDELY 60 SECONDS TILL SHUTDOWM...... Or something similar to that effect. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before. If so please help me out. Thanks everyone in advance.

sounds like the blaster virus--does the pc actually shut down?
Norton has a fix and then apply the windows patch
